NTP/SNTP Servers
Network Infrastructure and Control Systems maintains two NTP/SNTP servers that are available on the ASU network and the Internet. They are:
ntp1.appstate.edu
ntp2.appstate.edu
You can also use:
time.appstate.edu
Our DNS system will distribute the requests to time.appstate.edu between ntp1 and ntp2.
These servers support the Network Time Protocol (NTP) version 3, as described in RFC 1305 and the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) version 4, as described in RFC 2030.
ntp1 and ntp2 synchronize their times from a pool of servers in the United States organized by pool.ntp.org.
